[5.46] Enforce an ‘=’ character if the literal starts with a dollar sign
TerminéeIntroduced in VertiGIS Studio Workflow 5.46
As described here https://support.vertigis.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/24418316912914/comments/24562407925650
Would it be an option to enforce an ‘=’ character if the literal starts with a dollar sign?
I've made the same mistake many times, and still do after years of building workflows. I'd accept having to use an expression for the few occasions where I have a literal value starting with $

We should be able to add some kind of “Did you mean” warning. Since this can be a bit of a guess on our part, I'll want to also have a mechanism to reject suggestions so you don't need to try to ignore them all the time afterwards.

I can feel a Clippy character coming to the Workflow designer :-)

Berend Veldkamp I actually found a React Clippy component a while ago and was going to do a prank demo with it saying “It looks like you're trying to write a Workflow…” but I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face.

Straight faces are overrated. Clippy, OTOH, is accurately rated (highly).
