Interface Ideas
Hi. My project involves migrating from a desktop addin to a web app. The addin has an interface like below. Looking for suggestions about how to provide something similar using workflow and VSW.

One option is to use a WF to display the records in a results table. I could then add actions (that launch WFs) like add record, edit record, link to trees, etc. via the context menus for each record. That kind of works, but seems a bit clunky. There is no control over default field order, and relying on context menus is not great. There's no fine grained control over the height for end users, etc. In short, it's a fairly basic interface and the users experience would be marginal.
The other idea I had is to use an item picker within a form to show the user the list of records and then have a way for them to choose an action (probably some buttons) like add or delete record. But there are issues with this approach too. I can display multiple fields but it's not formatted like a table (and no good way to show field names). Overall, seems kind of awkward.
So, wondering if others have ideas for this type of interface?
Thanks
