Map export does not honor layer symbology set in webmap
Hello,
In our VertiGIS application we have several polygon layers that have been stylized in a web map. When users export a map using these layers, the export has the default symbology it was published with rather than the symbology set up in the web map used in the VertiGIS application.
Our application is public: https://apps.geocortex.com/webviewer/?app=00d9853f922845a5841e0123918a449a
Layers with issues include the surveying dataset, census boundaries, and some of the layers with in the Admin group.
we have recently changed some of our on prem layers to hosted feature layers, so not sure if this is the issue?
Any thoughts as to why this could be happening?
Thanks,
Mary

That sounds familiar. I had that issue and support was able to replicate it (bug 266898). For my situation, it was because we saved custom symbology to the AGO layer item instead of saving it in the webmap itself. Try tweaking the symbology a little in the webmap and saving it so that the symbology from the webmap overrides what's saved on the layer item.

Thanks, I will try that. We did set up visualization on the layers after publishing hoping it would save time…
