How to implement VertiGIS Studio Reporting Custom Widget within Experience Builder?
I have read that there is support and the ability to add VertiGIS Studio Workflow and Printing for Experience Builder. Is it possible to implement VertGIS Studio Reporting as a custom widget as well? Or is this not developed yet, as I do not see anything within the Reporting documentation about implementing the widget within Experience Builder. This would be focused on Enterprise Portal, but I have interest as well implementing it within ArcGIS Online.

Hi Cole Kellow yes, you can run Reports in ExB using the Run Report activity in Studio Workflow. I am working on building out some examples of using Actions in ExB to do this.

Hey @... - Did you ever create any samples? When I run workflow from the widget controller, I initially get a blank workflow window, followed by the dialog I created. How can I prevent that blank window from opening up?

Attempting to implement this as well to eliminate our dependency on WAB, but am extremely confused with the interactions of the workflow widget and experience builder. Examples would be so appreciated! … A VSW Reporting widget would be even better :)

I’m exploring ways to integrate VertiGIS Studio Reporting with Experience Builder through a widget. So far, I’ve only been able to find documentation and examples for Web AppBuilder, but not for Experience Builder.
I know that Workflow and Printing can be added to Experience Builder, but I haven’t seen anything similar for Reporting. Has anyone managed to implement Reporting as a custom widget in Experience Builder, either for Enterprise Portal or ArcGIS Online?
Any guidance, documentation, or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

There is no reporting widget available right now, but the workflow widget does support running reports.

Thank you! Do you also know how to obtain the report, when I don't have a VertiGIS Reporting license in ArcGIS Online?
I can download the workflow by opening my Workflow Designer (on premise) and choose “Open by URL” and enter this URL: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=65050e67c3894b1b8e09ad69c06ad449
But that is not an option in the Report Designer.

I finally got this to work after they posted an example workflow for VSW a couple weeks ago (thank you, Lucas!): https://support.vertigis.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/30575355939602-New-Tech-Tip-Video-Generate-a-Report-from-a-Workflow
I copied all components of the sample workflow into an Experience Builder based workflow, and then removed any pieces with errors. It's will need some tweaking to your specific use case, but at least it is a [working] starting point.
