Firefox update broke my Geocortex Site
Anyone else noticing that the recent Firefox update broke some major functionality? As of Friday, Oct 4th, we can no longer use Map Tips or really anything that uses the Geometry Service. Who knew I'd be promoting Edge as a solution.

Hi Mike! We are on version 4.15. Odd thing is its only causing issues on certain machines, like mine! Works fine on two laptops running the latest Firefox and a number of desktops as well. Thanks!

That would make me think it is not a Firefox issue. Have you heard anything from external users (i.e. outside your network)?
Can you try this application: https://dnrmaps.wi.gov/H5/?viewer=SWDV and see if it causes similar issues?

Nice site! Experiencing the same issues using Firefox vs. Chrome. Firefox doesn't return anything when i click on the map nor does it acknowledge I've typed anything into the Global Search. Chrome, on the other hand, works great as I'm able to type Dakota into Global Search and also get the returned values as the Map Tips where you have set them up. I'm thinking a Firefox issue for sure, but why just a few computers. Thanks Mike! I'll monitor this thread to see if anyone else chimes in with a similar experience. Until then, I'm fine using Chrome. Cheers!

Hi Nico! And guess what extension our IT Dept. had us install last week! Bitwarden! Apparently it breaks the latest version of Firefox too. RESOLVED! Thanks you two!

Bitwarden was the cause for us our Edge issues. They are rolling out extension updates that are causing this and it may well have issues with not just with GXE. We have only a small number of Bitwarden users and we have just made them aware not to use the extension and perhaps use the web version.
