Basemap Series - discrete jumps between basemap layers.

Say I have a basemap series with imagery basemaps for years from 2000 to 2023. I want the user to be able to switch between each basemap without the “2000-2001” or “2001-2002” fade in and fade out. Basically, I want them to switch right from 2000 straight to 2001 and so on and so forth. This was available in Geocortex Essentials and our users have requested it in VertiGIS Studio as well.

Not planned, but will consider in the future.

That's really unfortunate. A lot of our users are reaching out to us upset that you cannot easily select a single year like you could before. Is it possible to prioritize this for a future release?

Its something we definitely need as well. The basemap slider is unusable for us because there are so many years of imagery in our series that its almost impossible to get the slider to land on the year you need but instead get a mush of 2 different datasets. In essentials, even with the same number of years in the slider there was clear tick marks and it snapped to each year as you moved along the slider. Please reconsider improving the basemap slider in the near feature. We are planning on going live with our VertiGIS site early next year and so far a basemap slider is now removed from the web viewer which is going backwards in functionality for our users.

Agree this is highly used in our current Essentials and seems unusable almost in new VertiGIS - thanks for the consideration!
