Unable to validate ArcGIS Enterprise URL for Sign-in option in the Post Installation Configuration

Hello Everyone, 

Greetings!

We are trying to setup Geocortex Essentials (4.14) and in the process of setting up the sign-in options we are trying for the ‘Portal for ArcGIS’ and when we are adding the public URL of the Portal then Geocortex is unable to validate the same. 

However, we are able to access the Portal Home page on the Browser on the same machine and also can ping the URL in the CMD. 

Is there any way to identify why the Geocortex is unable to validate an active portal URL. 

Any inputs on this will be highly appreciated.

  Hi Bob, we did found the solution to this. 

  It is related to the .NET version of TLS in the Registry of Windows, the IT team updated the same and after that the ArcGIS Enterprise was validating. Following link was refer to make the changes in the Registry.
