Hide datalinks if no related features found
Non planifiéeI suggest to hide datalinks if no related features are found. Or at least make this an option.
The results details can get very cluttered because of all the tabs that show datalinks. Currently a user has to check all the tabs to see if there are related features. We have a usecase where the datalinks only return related features in less than 5% of the cases. The user experience would be much better if the empty tabs would not show in the +95% cases.

I know it makes sense, similar to pre-verifying that a URL actually exists before rendering it, but it is extra expense and performance to verify results before displaying. May consider in the future.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Cam. I can see your considerations. Let's hope that performance becomes less and less of an issue in the future.

I think this is a parity issue. The ability to use data links within a feature description (or not) is a workhorse feature in the GVH. I respectfully request this is considered now as an essential migration capability as we transition to VS Web.
