dropdown menu in display summary

Instead of having the numbered buttons & arrows as the only option currently,
it would be nice to have a drop-down menu (as we had it in geocortex essential's map tips).
It's especially helpful if your click returns a lot of features, like you can see in the screenshot above.

agree - this was a great feature of the Essentials viewer

I agree too. This was a great feature for users who had many layers visible in their map window, despite being advised to keep these to a minimum!

Might still get there ... but in the meantime:
For applications where the density is such that many layers could be returned ... perhaps change out the map clicked event tool from Identify Details to Identify ... that will send the results to the standard Results List which is better suited to dealing with large numbers of results (i.e. you can view it flat or categorized and have built-in filtering tools as well)

I've added a story to look at several places where we display a 'list' of things to allow a drop-down display option.
So far I have in view:
- Layer Presets display
- Basemap Picker display
- The < 1 2 3 4 > chooser used in results.display-details
- Feature Actions shown in result details view
- Bookmarks display
Anyone have any other obvious suggestions?

thanks for adding a story.
I would also suggest "results.display-summary" since its basically the same as
"the < 1 2 3 4 > chooser used in results.display-details" but with less information.0 -
Alexander just gave me an idea. It would be great to have a drop-down at the top of the results details for switching to the results table and then back to details from the table. We have that as a button in the header tools now, but it's not very obvious to users.
