Adding Geoserver WMS/WFS to Geocortex Essentials site
I'm trying to add a Geoserver WMS or WFS service to a Geocortex Essentials site (4.14.3.0) and I get a "Connection Failed" message. I'm able to connect to my services with Arc GIS Pro, so I know the URLs are good.
Example url is:
https://<my-ip>:8443/geoserver/ows?service=WMS&version=1.3.0&request=GetCapabilities
Does Geocortex Essentials support OGC WMS and WFS?

Where are you trying to add the Service? I had this issue when I tried to add a service in the Service Connections tab. I got around it by opening my site, on the Map tab I clicked Add Map Service. I entered the URL on the Search tab and clicked the search magnifying glass.

This could be related to TLS 1.2

When using the "Search" feature of "Add Map Service" with my test Geoserver URL, I get "No Results Found." (other sites are discovered using direct urls or just search phrases).
I'll confirm the TLS version with my team.
i can make these connections in AGP, so I'm assuming implementation details I'm using for testing like using self-signed cert using port 8443 wouldn't be the issue, would they? Because GCE shows no results so quickly, i'm wondering if the port is an issue.
Also, the suggested URL patterns are different than what I'm using (but again, working in AGP).🤷

I verified we have TLS 1.2 configured. Any other suggestions?

After messing with this over the past few days, I'm pretty sure this is a bug in Essentials. My WMTS service works in ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, basically everywhere else.

I've had WMTS issues for years with GXE not liking it, but it works everywhere else. Have a look at this thread its what I used to allow Manger enough time to connect and display the WMTS layers. Unsure why it takes longer than other services to display the layers.
