PID search length
I've been working with trying to get the inherited search function to work with our parcel data. The limit on the input field seems to be 8, I need to be able to change that to 9 or 12 depending on which parcel number format we need to search with. Can I please get some help on how to edit this. I would also like to edit the text that explains what the search does. We do not use the word PIN and I would very much like to change this. I would also like some better white papers on how to get things to work. I was assured that it was easy to configure and so far I have found little to none or outdated documentation. By going through the new 2.0 paper I was able to track down where the input mask was. By default the mask was only 8 chars long in the form of 99999999 I added one more 9 and it worked fine. Also make sure to change all instances of PID to your search field and make sure to change the service name and new parcel data layer name. I'm still trying to figure out how to re-order the layer list. Please help if you see this (Geocortex Support). 0
