Site reverts to older version of config files

Hello, I recently was working on updating my site theme configuration. Themes that I tried to delete remain in the dropdown menu. And the site seems to have reverted to an older config file. I am a little confused by this and I am wondering what I can do to correct the situation. Any input appreciated. Thanks Ben

  I have seen this issue before - try deleting the original config file or at least move it out of your themes directory so the only config file is your new one.

  This issue is recurring.  I had a whole menu and HOME screen revert to one I created months ago.

  I'm sorry to hear that your configuration reverted.

   

  I assume that this happened during an upgrade.  To help me investigate the matter, please provide me with the following information:

   

  1.  Version upgraded from;

   

  2.  Version upgraded to; and

   

  3.  Modules affected
