Integer field label not showing up in results or pop-up

I am trying to show a field of "Max_Height" in the results pane as well as in the Identify popup.They are not displaying in either location, but I know the fields are populated because they are labelled inside the service. They are a field type of Int16 if that matters. Any ideas on why they aren't displaying? Is there some syntax I can put in to convert them to a string for labelling, if need be?
