Instant Search - ordering results

I know this question has been ask before about the search results from identify and global search, but can the search results from "instance search" be ordered or in some way prioritized?  As an example, I have two layers, address and street.  Both have been indexed for instant search.  Beause the street name is an attribute in both layers, a search for the street name populates the Search Results with the individual address features first and the street features last.  We have a need for the street features to be at the head of the list and then the address features.  I've tried reorganizing the map services and the layers in the layer list, but this doesn't seem to have any effect on how the results from instant search are displayed.   Any ideas on how to order instant search results or if it's even possible?
