Navigation/directions tool?

Is there currently - or in the works - a tool or configuration that willl let you enter navigation points (address') and generate the route on the map and provoide turn by turn driving instructions - very much the same as a number of the ESRI html5/js web apps and Google Maps can do?  If not, it would be great to see it included - the routing workflow is clunky and does not provide user route distances/directions  (at least I can't do that).  Is there anyway of tying the esri html5 route plotting and navigation tool into a geocortex viewer as a fix?
