Querying multiple fields

I want to create a sales search. I have been trying to create a simple tool that is more user friendly than a query builder. Our users want to search by property class, neighborhood code, price, date, buyer, seller. How do I create a workflow that querys our sales feature class? And if they decide to not fill in a search field, it skips it. Thanks.
