Records not sorting correctly in expanded view (except ObjectID)

I'm looking at records in a related table in expanded view. I click the field header to sort the records and they do not sort. In this case I was trying ona  date field but noticed text fields also weren't sorting. The only column that appears to sort in the correct order is ObjectID. Anyone else experiencing this behaviour? I'm using GE 4.4, GVH 2.5.
