maintain graphic symbology to print

Hi:

 

Working in Essentials 4.2 and HTML5 Viewer 2.4.1, I've been able to add markup to the Drawings graphic layer using the "AddMarkup" command and modified the graphics symbology using the UpdateGraphicsLayer activity without issue.  But when wishing to print, the modified symbology is not maintained.  The default appears.  Tried to listen to PrintTemplateStartedEvent but couldn't capture an object to reinforce the desired symbology.  What am I missing so the same "custom" symbology is kept for the print object as shown in the Viewer.
