Is there a way to view a geo-referenced DWG file in Geocortex?

Essentials 4.4.3 HTML5 2.5.2

 

I was curious if anyone had incorporated .dwg or other CAD drawing files into a Geocortex application.  We have a vendor trying to sell us a weird "GIS Stream" viewing component for electronic plan review.

 

Just wondering.

  Hi Sean,

   

  There's nothing out-of-the-box that provides this capability, although it's possible someone's done some custom development to support this. I had a quick look through projects implemented by our Professional Services team, but it doesn't appear that it's something they've done.

   

  It's definitely an interesting feature, and something we talked about doing for the Silverlight viewer, but it got pushed to one side as other features took priority. I've re-filed it for the HTML5 viewer and (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCIdeasDetail?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&id=087600000000A66AAE&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials) posted an associated Idea for folks to vote on. If there's sufficient interest, it's definitely a feature we'd consider again.

  I would be interested in something to present dwg and dgn files.
