Export CSV or XLSX from workflow selection

My boss doesn't like the button at the top right of the results table.  He wants a button to pop up after the selection is made asking the export type.  I cannot figure out how to get the built in tools "Export to CSV" and "Export to XLSX" to run and work in my workflow.  Please help
