Copy layer configuration between sites
Hi,
There is often a lot of work involved in configuring map layer properties, like 'Display Name', 'Layer Icon', 'Feature Description', 'Display' and 'Supported Operations' properties, 'Data Links', 'Reports', 'Fields', etc... It would be great to have an easy way to copy all of these configurations from one site to another. Arcgis Online has something similar whrere you can configure a layer (popup and other characteristics) and save it as an item which can then be used in any webmap. Thanks.

If you import a layer from one site to another, it preserves many of these settings. If I have a layer I know will be in multiple viewers, I configure it in one and then import it to the rest. This only works with viewers on the same instance. 0 -
