VBScript timeout in workflows after upgrading to e4.5.1 gvh2.6.1

After upgrading to e4.5.1 gvh2.6.1, all my workflows with VBScript are timing out...most of the time. Somewhat erratic but they consistently lag at the VBScript.

 

They do however run fine in the Workflow Simulator.

 

Everything was fine at e4.5 gvh2.6.

 

What has changed?
