Object doesn't support property or method '__base_showDatepicker'

I am using HTML viewer 2.6

 

When trying to make an input field as a datepicker field (jquery ui datepicker), I get the following error

 

  Object doesn't support property or method '__base_showDatepicker'

 

If anyone has come accross this error, any suggestion is appreciated.
