Get geometry and paste into text field of form

I have a workflow that will allow users to edit the attributes but not geometry of a line feature. Currently, if users want to note spatial changes, they would plot a coordinate (while the workflow is running), then type the lat/long into the comments field. I would like to help users with this process. I am thinking along the line of mimicing the Windows CTRL+C after the geometry capture and alert of the X and Y of the coordinate. I just know there's a better way but I can't think of it. Any thoughts?
