Analytics 1.1.1 - internal server error
Hi there,
I have installed Analytics on two machines ( windows 7 & Windows Server 2012 R2).
I was abled to register ArcGIS Online account with both of them, but on windows 7 I can log-in to Analytics with ArcGIS Identity but on Windows Server 2012 R2 I getting this error:
Internal Server Error
The operation resulted in an error: One or more errors occurred.
I have IIS 8.5 on this windows server and also have ASP.Net 4.5. But I don't why I'm getting this error.

Any idea? Update? 0 -
Hi Ahad,
Generic internal server errors can be pretty tricky to troubleshoot. Are you seeing this error when you log into reports from the server (console or RDP), or through the browser on your desktop?
I would suggest trying this URL from the server:
http://localhost/AnalyticsReports
I hope this helps!

Hi Danny,
I have tried it from the server at my desktop and same error. I did tried localhost as well.
It takes about 1 minute and then it is failing with this error message.
But on windows 7 run without any problem.

Hi Ahad,
Unfortunately, I'm not too sure what else to suggest without being able to look at the server. I would suggest reaching out to your local re-seller (AAM I believe) so they can assist you.
If that's not an option, you may find some clues in the web service proxy log file (Here by default: C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\Logs\WebServiceProxy.log)
I hope this helps!
Thanks,

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I'm experiencing a similar issue where I can authorize the ArcOnline Identity store, but when try to login to the Analytics web page for the first time it returns the internal server error trying to reach the analytics site. Does the site need to be reachable from ArcOnline for the redirect after logging in? 0 -
Hello Ahad and Christopher,
Christopher, no, your Analytics site does not need to be reachable from AGOL.
Here's a new KBA that may help:

Hi Daniel,
Still have this problem with 1.2.1 on the same machine, just wondering if anything else I can do to resolve this?!0 -
Hi Ahad,
My next suggestion would be to do a screen share to investigate this on your server. You'll need to reach out to your Analytics reseller (or to us if you bought directly), and open a support case.
Thanks!

I got this error recently and thought it could be due to the AGOL switch to TLS 1.2 and I was correct.
I was able to resolve it by adding the registry values mentioned at the link below on my analytics server: https://communities.geocortex.com/s/article/Connecting-to-external-services-with-TLS-1-20
