Creating a a new Bookmark shows up in IE but not Chrome

Hello,

 

Has anyone had issues with creating bookmarks in Chrome? I can create a custom bookmark of an area in IE and it shows up in the list of bookmarks, but when I do the same thing in Chrome...it does not. I should add that this is at the user end. The public user can create bookmarks when usign IE, but not Chrome.

 

any help would be great.
