Can I install the agent on my ArcGIS Server (not running Lat Geo products)?

I've got my ArcGIS Server installed on a different server than Geocortex Essentials and Analytics. Will I get any benefit from installing the Analytics Agent on the ArcGIS Server?

  Hi Ethan,

   

  The benefit to installing the agent on the ArcGIS server is that you won't need to configure the server manually in the Analytics configuration page.  The trade off is that the agent installs Geocortex Core, which is a little resource heavy.  If your ArcGIS server has lots of RAM, and you don't mind the extra overhead, the agent install is fine, but in most cases we recommend remote monitoring from the Analytics hub (without and agent).
