Display Form Verification Before Save

I have a workflow that uses a large display form for the user to enter in attribute data for new features.  I am using checkboxes to minimize the amount of space.  However, if the user forgets to go back through and check all of those checkboxes, whatever section wasn't expanded does not get saved.  So I wanted to create a prompt or another display form when the user clicks Save that says "Did you remember to check all the boxes?" and if they click Yes it saves, if they click No it goes back to the workflow.  The problem I ran into is when they click No and it goes back, all the data they entered is lost.  I am using a flow chart with decisions after each display form. How can I add a popup that doesn't change what has been typed in the form, but also doesn't save it either?

  I think the only way is to put the values on the form again through runtime modifications.
