Configure emails for only certain servers?
I'm trying to set up analytics to only send alarm emails from specific servers (only want emails from prod servers, not dev/test). I know you can only have one email distribution list but it seems like I should be able to control whether emails get sent or not through the global service settings + the alarm settings for each individual servic.
What I have attempted so far is to set the "Service Settings" for ArcGIS Servers to 'alarm on Failed Response' and send an email after 1 occurrence. Then, in the "Alarms" section of the specific ArcGIS Server I DON"T want emails from, I left "Alarm on Failed Response" checked but unchecked the "Email" checkbox.
To me, this should mean that my default is to generate alarms and send emails from all servers except the ones that I specify to only generate alarms but no emails. However, changing the settings on the Alarms tab of an ArcGIS Server doesn't seem to have any effect - I still get emails from all servers all the time. Does anyone know if this should work like I think it does? I really don't want to have to go into "Service Settings" for each server, select every layer and override the default settings. I'm not sure you can do that anyways because the email checkbox is already unchecked. It seems you can only override and add an email notificiation, not remove it.
I'm interested to know how other people are handling notifications.
Peter.

Hi Peter,
I've been able to reproduce this issue and filed it as a bug, GID-3046. Please review future Analytics release notes to see when this gets resolved.
Thanks,
