Geocortex Analytics fails to collect data from other servers which are remotely monitored;

Hi All,

 

Despite the fact that I have remotely monitored the server which the Geocortex Essential is installed on it, Geocortex Analytics fails to collect the viewers’ data.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 What might be the issue here?

  Hi Lubna,

   

  In order to monitor your Essentials sites in Analytics, you will need to install the Analytics agent on the Essentials server, and then join it to the Analytics cluster (using the cluster name and the shared secret that you configured when you installed Analytics).  The only way to monitor your Essentials sites and viewers is by installing the agent.  

   

  Please take a look at the Analytics installation guide, specifically section 4.4 (installing the agent), and section 5.2 (using the cluster configuration utility to join the cluster).
