How does Geoortex Analytics pick up Viewer Name/ID?

How does Geoortex Analytics pick up Viewer Name/ID? We recently renamed viewer ID to make it unique but the Geocortex Analytics is still not picking up the new ID even after restarting Geocortex Core on both the Geocortex Server and Analytics Server. How will Analytics pick up new ID?

  Hi Dibya,

   

  The viewer Name/ID is picked by the Essentials Info collector on the Essentials server. Please check your task manager to make sure this role is running. If it isn't even though you've installed the agent then navigate to the following file, open with notepad and set AutoStart = "True" on line 2.

   

   C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\NSRoot\Geocortex\Analytics\Collectors\EssentialsInfo\1.2.1\role.config

   

  This will start the collector and the information should get updated in the report in about 5 minutes. If the problem persists please open a support case.
