SQL Query Command timeout

Hi I am running a query using SQL Query activity. For 95% of the time, this runs very quickly (<10s). However it seems it is timing out for certain cases. In SQL Server, the same query taks about 40s.

 

In Geocortex this query is timing out after about 30s. Is there any way to increase the timeout to say 1min?

 

I have increased timeout as executionTimeout="600" in 

 

D:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\web.config

 

But this made no difference. I have tried restarting IIS, restarted the server also.

  Thanks for clarifying that Ravin!  It sounds like you have extended the timeout in the web.config file, but are still having this issue.  There are some good suggestions in this thread (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCForum?sub-nav=forum&main-nav=essentials&/feedtype=SINGLE_QUESTION_DETAIL&criteria=ALLQUESTIONS&id=90660000000099WAAQ)  that may help.  In particular, I would look into running your SQL query as an async request.
