Data folder UNC path?

Hi,

 

Is it possible to use UNC or does it need to be a drive letter?

  Richard,

  HI Richard,

   

  For the Data folder, you cannot use a UNC path, it has to be a local folder.  This is a limitation of Elastic Search, and it is not something we can solve in the product.  

   

  Peter is right, regarding the collector configuration, you can use a UNC path to read the log files.
