What does a 'Geocortex account' do for those building workflows
We have an AGOL for organizations account, and likely host WF5 workflows on our own webservers. With this scenario in mind, do we need our own 'Geocortex accounts' to log in? In other words, what does a 'Geocortex account' provide us that we can't do with our current AGOL account?

Hello Mike,
With an organizational AGOL account, you are able to design workflows using the Designer but you will need linked Geocortex accounts in order to execute workflows.
Thanks, Stefan

Do public users of my application need a Geocortex account, even if I were to host the json files on our web servers?

Sorry, I misspoke. You will need a linked Geocortex account to author workflows, but end users will not need one. Depending on how the workflow is hosted and the security of your system, your end users may need ArcGIS identities.

Thanks.
I know this should be its own thread, but can anyone in my agency (Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) get an "Geocortex account". If so, does it need to be vetted by someone within Latitude Geographics or by me (Server admin).

Requests for new Geocortex accounts by emailing customerservice@geocortex.com. The request can come from you or from them. If they're not already in our system as a contact, or if their email address has a different domain, we would like you or another registered colleague CC'd on the request just so we know that the request is legitimate.
