How do I allow users to stay signed in?

Is there a way to force a user log in to persist over a specified period of time, so that they don't have to log in every time they use the site.    We want to implement functionality to certain users that will be access from an external link.

  Hi,

   

  What type of security have you configured for your sites?

   

  The only type of security we support for Single Sign On is Windows Authentication through IIS.

  We are allowing Anonymous Access and Windows Integrated,    Been out a few days, sorry for slow reply.
