[5.16] Allow workflow container to be non-closable
TerminéeGeocortex Workflow 5.16 allows you to specify a container in Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 that has "allowClose" set to false, such as "DefaultNoCloseButton".
Currently the workflow form's target can only be 'default' or 'modal', and both these options include a close 'X' button. It would be good for both default and modal to include an option to be non-closable (i.e. remove the close 'X' button), so the user is forced to do something in the form before they can close it.?
This is currently possible in Workflow 4 by setting up custom containers in the Geocortex Site.

I Have been searching for this functionality, but unfortunately it is as you described. Would love to have this option.

This needs to be added or provide an OnClose event. (https://community.vertigis.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4518129557138-Close-Event-for-DisplayForm).
Use Case: When people close using the X, this is a hard terminate and does not give us a chance to clean up the map (e.g. remove markup, reset extent, etc) like we can do with a button event.

For exactly the reasons Tom Neer mentions

Do we have any progress? This little change could provide great improvement on user experience of WF.

We are currently planning to improve the integration with GVH to allow you to specify other containers, which would include the "no close" variations which omit the close button. 0 -
Yup this is very much needed.
Use case: I have a graphics layer that is gracefully cleaned up when the user clicks my "close" button on the form. However we've found users are clicking the little "X" which immediately ends the workflow and leaves the graphics on the map.
As Tom mentioned, either provide the OnClose event or make the forms non-closable are both options.
