Has anyone been able to add Nearmap imagery into GCE in their local projection

We are able to bring in FEMA live WMS data to GCE.  Our WEBmap is in State Plane coordinate system.  NearMap imagery is in WMS, but gives an error when loading.  It shows up in the Layer List, but doesn't show up on the map visually.  Anyone know if adding NearMap imagery to the local project map is possible?

  Do you have an unlimited subscription?  I believe their stuff is a tiled service, and you would need to cache first before bringing into a GCE site with a different coordinate system.  You need the unlimited in order to cache.
