Runtime Modifications and Groups

I want to modify the description of a group (i.e., Group1) at runtime. Is there a way to do this? Group modifications aren't listed in the help for Display Forms, and I can't find any examples. I'm looking for something like this: form.Find(Of GroupFormItem)("Group1").Description If it's not possible to modify Groups the way you would modify other form elements, why?
