Site Error/Warning Notifications

It would be nice that when an error/warning is found within a site that an automatic e-mail can be sent to a distribution list. The reason for this is because I don't go into the back-end for my sites all that often but we are doing GIS maintence bi-weekly. For example, if a field is removed, the site still functions but next time I am into the back-end of that site, there is a warning symbol regarding the missing fields. If we could set up automatic e-mail notification whenever something like this occurs that would help us solve the problems, instead of letting it sit for 6 months...
