Using Relationship class in Reports
It is possible to make subreport and build your relationship class. But I now have an situation where the related table (m:n relationship) is not in the arcgis server mapservice. The relationship works in GVH/WebAppbuilder but I can not use the relationships classes in Reporting. Are there plans for supporting relationship classes in Reporting5? Or anyone have an brilliant workaround. I use https://basisregistraties.arcgisonline.nl/arcgis/rest/services/BAG/BAGv2/MapServer There is a relationship between Adres and Pand but the m:n table is not in the mapservice so I cannot build the query manually.

Hi Erik,
We don't have short term plans to add support for relationship classes defined at the ArcGIS map service level.
If you have access to the back-end SQL database used by ArcGIS then you could use it as the data source rather than an ArcGIS service and then handle the m:n relationship in your query. This won't work for all scenarios though.

Hi Ryan,
Can you confirm that the ability to add subreports in Essentials based on relationship classes does NOT exist at the current release?
Thanks,

Hi Dave,
I can confirm that adding subreports based on relationship classes is not currently supported. This feature is not planned at this time.
Is your use case the same as Erik's above, where the relationship uses an intermediate m:n table that is not published in the mapservice?

Hi Ryan,
No the relationships are published in map services and available but I don't have access to the backend sql to create data links. I can script the tables out and make them available...
