Can I delete old Analytics log files to free up disk space?
We are running Analytics 1.4 and have noticed our "\program files\latitude geographics\geocortex core\data\logs" folder has gotten huge at 62 GB. What can I do to free up disk space without losing the last several months of Analytics data?

Hi Kari,
Those log files are strictly for troubleshooting, they can be erased. You will need to stop the Core service in order to delete them.

Thanks, Wayne. I only need to stop the Core service on my Analytics server to delete those log files/folders, correct? That way I can leave the Core service on my Geocortex Essentials server alone and my Essentials users should not experience any downtime, yes? 0 -
That's correct, Core would need to be stopped on the server that you intend on deleting the log files from.
62G is quite a bit, I would watch the new log files after you clear them out to see if they start growing quickly. There may be a log file entry repeatedly written that can be suppressed by resolving the issue.
