Geocortex Analytics 1.4.3 fails to be installed on a hub server and return an iis error;

Hi All,

 

 

 

I am trying to install the new version of GA 1.4.3 on a hub server (Analytics server) taking into consideration all requirements of hub server but it fails to be installed and return an iis error.

  Hi Lubna,

   

  The log file shows this entry  - 

   

  Installing "Default Web Site/AnalyticsReports"

   

  Error 4020. There was an error during the IIS configuration process.

   

  I could not find any previous reports on this issue internally but there are other reports of this with other products if you Google it.  It appears to be an issue with the IIS installation on the server, a role may be missing.  Can you check to see what IIS roles are installed and ensure all ASP related roles are installed?  One article mentioned removing IIS and re-installing it resolved the issue.  Another article mentioned adding the IIS6 Management console resolved it.

  The issue is solved by adding the missed roles related to IIS and ASP
