Change Cluster Name

Hi,

 

Is it possible to change the cluster name & shared secret? And if yes, how?

  Hi Sander,

   

  This info is stored in the Core config file (C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Bin\Geocortex.Platform.Host.exe.config)

   

  so it is possible to change the values in two nodes to match each other but there are implications, I would not try it without backing up all servers involved.  The cluster name is also in the directory structure of where the data is stored so you run the risk of orphaning your data.
