analytics and GXE servers in (separate) clusters, what are the settings?

Hi

 

We have three servers, 1 Analytics and 2 Geocortex servers. These are built from scratch.

 

We used the essentials method to create a GXE cluster. (cluster-e)

 

We the installed Analytics and created a HUB. (cluster-a) Then the GXE two servers were joined to the hub by installing analytics agents. The cluster names are different.

 

The servers appear in the list of attached servers but in the Essentials URL has no sites visible in the collection. The rest endpoints are valid.

 

Did we get this config right?

  Hi Roland,

   

  As you know, we're working on this as well as other issues via a support case but, for others who might come across this question: 

   

  The Essentials instance was discovered by the Analytics Agent and listed in Analytics Reports. The Essentials Sites folder was on a network drive and the Geocortex Core service didn't have permissions to that folder, so the Sites information couldn't be accessed. Sorting out permissions resolved the issue, the Sites are now showing up as expected.
