Analytics: Log features in a layer that users are identifying on
I am interested in capturing/logging statistics regarding which features in a layer a user is identifying on. Geocortex Analytics currently does not have that granularity. I can see that this functionality could become a performance drain if used indiscriminately but in certain situations the data would be invaluable.
Example use case:
We have an Active Projects viewer for our major development projects (http://products.issaquahwa.gov/html5viewerpublic/index.html?viewer=activeprojectspublic) and our Development Services staff asked if it were possible to know which projects users are clicking on so that more resources for outreach, etc. could be directed toward those projects.
Putting this idea in both Essentials Manager and HTML5 Viewer since Analytics is not available as a category.
