Analytics on an existing Essentials server

I set up Analytics hub on a test server a few months back to test it out.  We would like to move it off the test server and planned to move it to one of our Essentials servers but just read in the documentation that it is not reccommended to install Analytics on an existing Essentials server.  Why is that?

  Just my luck!  We had a regional Geocortex meeting today and I had a chance to briefly chat with a rep.  It sounds like this is not best practice but isn't completely out of the question.  As long as you think the machine has the resources to handle Essentials and Analytics, it should be okay.  There may be some trickiness with updating Essentials/Analytics since they both would be using the same version of Core.

  We tried that and our entire system would crash. So we configured another Analytics machine as well as spliting off to multitple tiers. Web/GCE, AGS, Data and Analytics. Everything is working great now and that gives us more flexibility for future growth.
