Can you move and edit the map layout
Hi guys, the viewer doesn't look too bad at this point. My biggest question at this point is around the ability to move and shift layout elements. For example, shift the search bar into the top banner, remove the scale bar, move to tool bar around ect. Is this type of functionality planned/ available? This was one of the biggest thing my organization was looking forward to, the power of geocortex tools with easily customization of layouts.

Second question, I'm just playing around in the viewer looking at things. When I search for results, and it opens up the bottom results pane there is no way to easily close it (an X like in essentials would seem logical).

Morning Shawn,
The short answer is YES, you can shift things around, but it isn't yet as easy as we intend to make it. Today, you have to manually edit the layout XML to alter the position of components. If you grab a copy of the experience walk through it includes a couple of examples of how to do this: https://1drv.ms/b/s!AogqVgTAdyM_hEhRFnjPdsdzFDAg
The very NEXT big feature we are working on after the 5.0 release is to build a configuration interface within Designer so that you can 'drag and drop' and 'move around' components without needing to edit a file.
Frankly, we were torn between wanting to get something great out right away, and holding onto it until we had the layout editing piece in place.
Having said that, with a 5 minute demo (maybe I should record a video and post it here for everyone?) showing you what you need to do it is trivially easy to start playing with the layouts.

Closing the Results Table - Good suggestion. I'd have to play around with the layout a little bit but I could probably wrap the results table in a panel configured to only have a close button and accomplish what you are suggesting.

Perfect thanks Cam! I think a quick video, or maybe even just covering it in the next road ahead will be useful.
