Monitoring of new content

Hi all,

 

How long should it take for new content i.e. Portal layers, map services, Sites, viewers to appear in Analytics 1.4.3?

 

For example I've added a new map service and have waited far longer than the current collection interval (15 mins), but it still is not appearing.

 

Is there anything I need to do to trigger the discovery of new content?

  Hi Rob,

   

  For a new top-level resource (An ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, etc), it should show up in Analytics' resource list as soon as you click Save on the Remote Monitoring configuration page or, in the case of an Agent Install, once the installation is complete.

   

  When you add a new map service to a resource that is already configured in Analytics, the new service should automatically appear under that resource on the next collection interval. 

  If your resources are not showing up after a collection cycle is completed, there is likely something wrong with the configuration - perhaps a permissions issue, or network access - the logs might reveal clues. If the issue persists, please contact Geocortex Support (support@geocortex.com) for assistance.
