Print preview doesn't work
I just installed Geocortex Printing, and am going through the tutorial to create my first map. When I try to preview the print, it fails to generate. The browser console log reports "Error: 0: Poison message." If I remove all map components, the preview works fine. This gets me thinking it may be TLS 1.2 related, but I've got .Net 4.7.2 installed, and have made the 2 registry edits that Latitude suggests.
If I save the template without the map components and then add it to my HTML5 Viewer, I can run it, but it reports "The given value does not represent a valid ArcGIS Server REST JSON format geometry".
Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
There's a few pieces of information which would help in sorting out this issue:
- Would you be able to provide a .har file, instructions here, during the print generation?
- What security do you currently have configured for your map services and for Essentials?
Thanks, Stefan

Hi Stephan. I just realized I didn't have the most recent version of GVH installed, so I installed it. I'm now running Essentials 4.11, and GVH 2.12.1. This didn't clear up the issue of Print Preview not working, but it did change the behaviour within GVH. I created a print template with no map elements, and it now works. I created a second template with map elements (basically, a copy of the 8.5x11 landscape). When I try printing it, it waits 90 seconds and then reports "Print error: Cannot read property 'message' of undefined". I'm including the har file.
The Geocortex site is available to the public. All map services it uses are open to the public, and the print templates in our portal are shared with everyone.
Let me know if you want me to open a support ticket instead of troubleshooting here.
Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris,
Sorry for the late reply. I've asked our development team to take a look and report back; I'll let you know when I hear from them.
Thanks, Stefan
