Does your organization use multiple geocoders in the same application?
When working recently with @Charles Deng? to help him get a custom geocoder into a Geocortex Web application I discovered he actually had two he wanted to add. One was streets, the other intersections.
I've captured this story for consideration and read up a bit on it.
I'd LOVE to hear from you. Does your organization use multiple geocoders within the same application?
If so, what are they purposed for and what is the use case?
Esri seems to imply that if you have multiple geocoders you should be assembling them into a composite geocoder service that automatically works from most local information to global information ... but I'd like to hear from you!
Thanks in advance for any information, it will help me know where to prioritize this particular story.

Cam,
There is a potential for a need for multiple geocoders for NG9-1-1 as Esri's Geocoder does not support CDXLF addresses without significant modifications to their locator rules. Unfortunately the Technical Paper described the creation and editing of Esri's locator files is out of date due to changes at 10.5. So potentially yes.
Weren't multiple geocoders supported in Essentials?

We typically use a composite locator versus multiple locators
